Following your purchase, you will receive an email with an assessment code which is needed to login to the online Practice Test. You will receive another email with a link to a zip file containing the How-To Guide and the CPNRE Prep Guide. Note: your computer/device must be able to open a zip file. The online Practice Test is a four-hour test, consisting of 165 multiple-choice questions matching the Blueprint for the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE).
Your total score on the online Practice Test is calculated as the number of questions on the test that you answered correctly. In addition, your performance is also presented by competency categories, cognitive levels and client age categories. Your performance on each level is calculated as the number of questions in that level that you answered correctly.
After you complete the online Practice Test, you will be able to review your Performance Profile to identify areas of performance strength and weakness. The Performance Profile provides the following:
The online Practice Test is delivered using the same test delivery system as the computer-based CPNRE. You will require these technical requirements in order to take the test.
What is the difference between test 1 and 2?
Both tests are the same format and contain the same amount of questions. The content for test 2 is new as of February 2019.
